Based on the 6 good reviews, I ordered this product and was excited to try it.

Totally dissapointed! It's really really watery. I added another espresso disc, did not help. Maxwell Latte is even though light to me but still a lot better than this.

I made one for my sister, she said it was not good either. The coffee tastes burned.

I agree that it creates a lot of foam but the taste is really unacceptable.

I'll try to stop the brewing next time to see if it's better but I doubt it :-(

If you are in the mood for a Starbucks taste - you should go with a SB Primo....but, if you want a smooth nutty and sweet creamy latte this is what you want. I accidently ordered this and WOW!!!! I just discovered something incredibly yummy and have added a "must-have" to the Tassimo beverage experiences I must have on-hand at all times.....because much like SB products...when I am in the mood for the Jacobs latte flavor there is absolutely no substitute. It really is that good!!

This was my favorite latte/cappucino/macchiato drink for the Tassimo prior to the introduction of Starbucks Cappuccino Primo, T-Discs for Tassimo Coffeemakers, 8 Count Packages (Pack of 2) [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging]. I stock both kits at the house now.

I like the taste of the European milk cartridges that come in the kit and the espresso t-discs are some of the tastiest released for the Tassimo. Milk is a bit sweet, which I like. No need to add additional sugar unless you want it realy sweet. Farly low calorie at about 80 calories per serving.

However, the espresso taste is a bit overwhelmed by the milk in this kit. The Starbuck's version is more assertive. For all these kits, I press the brew button a little longer during the espresso phase to add more coffee to the mix to add more flavor.

I bought the tassimo to make lattes exclusively and cut out the need to head to Caribu or Starbucks in the morning. This is by far the best latte for the tassimo and I dont miss the premium coffee trips at all.

The milk is from europe and produces much more foam than the others. It's also missing the slight chemical taste I get with the other ones. The espresso is nice and light. Put it in a clear glass to see the neat layering effect.

This makes a great cup of coffee. Decaf can often be bland, weak, or acidic, and the Gevalia decaf avoids all of those. It has a good rich flavor, not as rich or dark as I would like, but very solid. This is the decaf I keep stocked at home now.

Product's taste is above average. I do not like Mild coffees, typically go for dark roasts but this is pretty good. I'm not so sure they are Arabica beans, has a somewhat woody - dunkin donuts taste (but not in a good way).

I think Tassimo has a real problem with the creamer disks for the 'skinny' products. They never seem to empty all the way. I've found a way to kind of correct the problem ... just hold down the brew button for about 20 seconds more after the brewer finishes ... i.e. the yellow light is on. That way the disk empties and it's not as watery as running a second cycle with it. Just wish they'd fix the problem.

The flavor is good - the portion is smaller than the Starbucks equivalent. My concern is they have sugar in both cream products. Both the Skinny and the Regular have sugar...The Regular just has more fat. Also, there is no indication of sugar content once you have removed the product towers from the outer wrapping. This makes no sense as you can't taste the sugar, but it is there. Too many people can't have sugar or don't want sugar. Please eliminate the sugar or make one without sugar available. That would increase your market, for sure.

The selections of coffee for Tassimo are quite limited. I first tried the Maxwell House French Roast and found it okay, but nothing special to write home about. It is a bit stong and slightly burnt, which is not to say bad, but requires a bit of getting used to. I guess that the old saying 'you get what you pay for' is true. Maxwell House is Maxwell House whether in a can or T-Disc. Do not expect anything more. As an aside, I now am buyin Starbucks Verona T-Discs as well as Gevalia Signature. They are both a bit pricey, but taste wonderful. The extra expense is quite well worth it for the extra quality and flavor.

French roast Max coffee is good - not as bitter as Starbucks K or V - I sometimes add an espresso disk to the same cup. Still love the Tassimo Machine, too bad Amazon's prices are so high for the discs except for this particular one. I used to purchase my Senseo disks from Amazon, but for some reason, their T-discs are priced way too high.

I've had a Tassimo machine (not the same one) for nearly four years now, and have tried most if not all of the discs available through Amazon. While I haven't been thrilled with any of the other Maxwell House discs particularly (I like a strong cup of coffee, but there are a wide variety of preferences on this issue), I've been very, very pleased with the French Roast. It gives a strong but smooth brew and you can't beat the price--at the time I'm writing this you can get 2 packs of 16 discs of the MH French Roast for under $14, compared to 2 packs of 12 discs for more than $20 for the Starbucks blends. I still buy Starbucks, particularly the Africa Kitamu, and Seattle's Best, particularly Henry's Blend, because I like variety in my cup of Joe, but MH's French Roast is great choice, especially if you have multiple coffee drinkers in the house and need to keep plenty of discs on hand while still keeping within your food budget!

I recently purchased the Cappuccino T-Discs for my Tassimo coffeemaker in the Maxwell House collection. I thoroughly enjoy this coffeemaker and all of the T-discs which are provided for it. I know "other " coffeemakers have a wide variety of pods but they cannot do what the Tassimo can, such as making cappuccino, latte, iced coffee, etc. So I feel that I am using the ultimate coffeemake and the ultimate good tasting coffees.

I've tried the Gevalia cappuccino and this brand, and the Maxwell house is much less expensive, and every bit as good. Nice smooth flavor, not quite as strong with the expresso as I would like but still very good. This is going to be a regular selection for me because of its better value for the money-the other brand doesn't have enough of a difference in flavor to make up for the difference in price!

I'm genuinely pleased with Maxwell House Cafe Collection Cappuccino, and will try some of the other versions they have available in T-disks as well.

I am not a huge coffee drinker, but now that I have my Tassimo and my t discs I have a cup at least once a day. Starbucks Latte is my favorite. Actually, it's a toss-up between the cappuccino and the latte. I enjoy them both. Recently, my mother and I went to Memphis and Cape Girardeau, MO and we took the Tassimo system and a variety of t discs with us. It was really nice to wake up every morning to a Starbucks latte, or have a cup of tea before bed. I am so glad I can make my Starbucks latte at home. I enjoy the flavor more than any other t disc. I like to add a little caramel ice cream topping to mine. It's so good!

This is why I love the Tassimo system above other one-cup brewers. It can make a TRUE latte with froth and real milk. This comes with the milk discs (packaged to not need refrigeration) and the espresso disc needed to make a real latte.

Oddly, to make it correctly, I was surprised you are supposed to put the milk T-disc in first, then follow it by the espresso one, but it truly froths best that way.

It is extremely smooth tasting, very creamy and rich, and has the perfect balance of coffee to cream froth for me.

Great comfort drink without having to drive to Starbucks. And cheaper. And less calories than the one at Starbucks too!

I am usually not a fan of the Tassimo products that have milk discs, because the ones I had previously tried had a chemical-like taste. However, I did give this Starbucks Latte Primo a try and was pleasantly surprised. One thing I don't like is the delay between the milk and the expresso. My Tassimo machine runs the milk through fine, and then I replace the milk disc with the expresso, and then I have to wait for it to heat up again. Occasionally, it surprises me by being ready to run the expresso right away, but that's rare.

Note a cheaper and just as good approach as this product (in my opinion) is to use your own milk and an expresso disc. I fill a small coffee cup about half full with milk, put that into the microwave for about 30 seconds while waiting for the Tassimo to preheat for the expresso. Then I run the expresso in, and then usually press and hold the button until the cup is full.

I've been a Starbucks fan for many years and since retiring to a rural area the closest Starbucks is 15 miles away. Using the Tassimo's Starbucks Latte is the next best thing. I love it!! The flavor is spot on and I've discovered that I can get a more generous serving by pushing the start/stop button when the +cup icon flashes. I get every last drop out of the pod. Delicious espresso!

I really wish these were a bit cheaper, but I can't argue with the fact that it's a great latte. In fact, the ability to make a frothy, delicious latte in two minutes simply makes me positively giddy. I am SO glad I didn't buy a Keurig.

My only complaint with my new Bosch Tassimo is that the end product isn't quite as hot as I would like. As another reviewer suggested, however, 30 seconds in the microwave fixes that perfectly. I have glass coffee mugs (Anchor Hocking, 14oz, just $20 for 6) that are ideal for this purpose -- the handle stays cool, unlike ceramic cups. One more tip: I find that a splash of french vanilla Cofeemate makes it even better. ;)

All I can say is that Starbucks was smart in jumping on the Tassimo bandwagon, as I don't see myself spending much in their stores from now on.

My husband and I did a taste test with the Starbucks Cappuccino, Gevalia's, and the Maxwell House variety. We ranked them in that order exactly - with Starbucks' tasting rich, flavorful, and with a hint of caramel. Delicious. Gevalia was also quite good and is a bit less expensive, but the Starbucks flavor really knocked it out of the park. The Maxwell House cappuccino left an aftertaste and was not as flavorful.

This, for me, was a shock...I truly did not expect such rich taste and such a likeness to Starbuck's own 4 buck Cappuccino in their stores. No gas, no driving, no loss of time to grab one...just pop the disc into the coffeemaker and sip at home anytime.

Additionally, not only do I save gas, money, and time, but I also save calories as well. Starbuck's cappuccino in their store for an 8 oz short cup is 99 calories. This cappuccino is just 60, yet tastes equally as rich to me. For me, the taste is a great "comfort" drink and I'd rather enjoy this than a 100 calorie processed diet food snack...and it gives me a quick jolt of energy to boot. Considering that amount of calories is equal to what I'd add for my milk or cream in a regular cup of coffee but this tastes far richer and creamier with the foam...it's a favorite of mine.

To make the cappuccino primo you actually put the milk disc in first. You follow that with the espresso disc (You get both in this package) and you still get the foam somehow through the steam process of the Tassimo.

No complaints...makes a good size cup and it's decadent.
