I guess it's a matter of taste. Not my favorite but good basic coffee. My friend who doesn't go in for cappuccinos etc. likes this. I will say it's less bitter than Starbucks, who's popularity I still can not figure out. (other than that they are conveniently located but so is 7-11!)

To be honest, I've never tried this chocolate by itself (I really like the Milka for a hot chocolate). But after finding this on sale, I tried it as an addition to my cappuccino, and it was great! It stretched my cappuccino and made it taste nice and chocolatey.

If you're not happy with this product by itself, try it mixed with something else - you mighit really enjoy it. But be sure to use a big mug!

I just pop my latte cup with a little milk in the microwave for 20 seconds and then insert the Tassimo hot chocolate disc and have hot chocolate in a minute. Wonderful taste for cold nights.

I love hot chocolate. I have it every morning in place of coffee. However, the Suchard is not near as good as the Milka hot chocolate I have been getting from Tassimodirect. Amazon please start carrying the Milka Hot Chocolate t-discs!!! The Milka comes with chocolate discs and creamer discs and it makes the best hot chocolate ever.

I have tried to like this product but I really do not. Years ago when I was a kid I would occasionally buy a Suchard candy bar. I didn't like it either. I like BIG chocolate flavor. Ghirardelli kind of chocolate taste. Enough chocolate flavor to stand up to a squirt of whipped cream on occasion.

These are my favorite disks. I usually get mine at bed bath and beyond, but my last two trips they have been out, I'll have to get them from amazon I guess.

I like really REALLY sweet drinks, so I have to doctor mine. I use the milk disk then the espresso disk, then I use the same disk a second time for my drink. I add two packets of splenda, a touch more caramel (sugar free) then top it off with a ounce or two of sugar-free French Vanilla Coffee Mate (liquid). Perfect!!!

I can create nearly the same drink with reg or decaf espresso disks by adding more of my caramel which I've had to do since I can't find these disks locally.

For the price and convenience cannot be beat. Yes it's a two step process with the expresso disc then the creamer but it sure beats an expresso machine and steaming cream. No mess and simple. Gevalia Caramel Latte Macchiato and my Tassimo machine are a great combo....I love the taste also BTW...

Just tried this product out, it is one of my favorites for the Tassimo machine. Just to give you and idea of my tastes, the other products I like on the Tassimo are the Gevalia cappuccino/latte, the starbucks cappuccino/latte, and the Suchard's hot chocolate. Gevalia Swiss hazelnut coffee is ok. Maxwell house cappuccino is ok. Not a huge fan of the starbucks verona bold roast coffee. Milka hot chocolate is horrid.

Clearly this is a subjective matter since I'm in disagreement with previous reviewers. But while I have at least enjoyed, even loved other coffee varieties in the Tassimo machine, I hated the Gevalia Morning Roast so much I threw the rest away after making several attempts to tolerate it. It was terribly weak, almost chemical-tasting; it tastes like what comes out of a traditional drip coffee maker if you forget to replace the used grounds with fresh ones. (For the record, my favorites are the Starbucks House Blend and Colombian; Seattle's Best Henry's Blend is milder, less flavorful than those but still a decent cup of coffee, and cheaper than the Starbucks; Starbucks Verona is too strong for my taste.)

Gevalia is our favorite coffee for our Tassimo. The Morning Roast brews a 12 oz cup, which is nice as you run out the door in the morning. It's lighter than their Signature Roast (which I probably prefer), but that brews a smaller cup. We'd had a Keurig previously, and I like the coffee with the Tassimo better (largely due to the availability of Gevalia); it's brewed hotter and stronger and the cups are larger (more fluid ounces). I do wish they'd make organic coffees, though!

This is a big coffee. 12 ounces is a larger coffee out of the Tassimo machine, and I ran a cup over once. Not as strong or as bold as some of the 8 oz. Starbucks discs, but a great taste for most folks. Highly recommend. I would give a 5 star rating but it isn't a overly unique flavor. Will continue to purchase.

This is a nice mild brew no where near as strong as the Starbucks brand of discs. It fills a travel mug nicely without having to add any extra water at the end of the cycle.

The point of the Tassimo System is that you can get a reasonable coffee house cappuccino or latte in the convenience of your own home for about $1.50 - is it as good as a $9 cup pulled by a barista from a $2,000 Italian machine using organic milk? Maybe not but to have 90% of that cup without having to get in my car? And saving $7? I'll take it. Would I use this system as a substitute for drinking regular warm milk? Probably not but along with the coffee disc, it's a very nice cup of cappuccino or latte - it's liquid and not powered but vacuum sealed just like those non-refridgerated milk boxes for kids AND keep in mind, when you buy "regular milk," it's also 98% to 99.5% WATER - why do you think it says 2% on there? It means 2% milk and 98% water - in this case, you are supplying most of the water and along with the coffee, makes a fine latte or cappuccino. Can I say it's the greatest cup of coffee? No. But can I say it's the great $1.50 latte or cappuccino? I believe I can ... and then factor in that I didn't have to dress up and drive down to the coffee house? And as important, NO cleanup of the milk steamer apparatus.

So, in summary, if you want warm milk - buy a carton of milk and heat it on the stove with a pot. If you want an excellent latte for $1.50 (with the espresso disc) with no effort and no cleanup plus no driving - it's an excellent choice. AND with the tassimo system, you even get a little bit of foam. BTW, the difference between the latte & cappuccino is just the amount of water - the latte requires you to use a full size mug (16 ounces?) while the cappuccino makes much less milk and is a little creamier (12 ounces?)

Yeah, not so good to add to your drinks. Tastes very fake and nothing like the real deal. Stick to the T-Discs and don't add any Tassimo milk to your beverages unless you like the taste of vending machine coffee.
